  1. Thank you! I'm not sure how I feel about my hair color fading though. I don't really notice it much until I see myself in a photo (it also look lighter with the flash). Might have to get some ARTec shampoo. What do you think?

  2. With the fade, it makes me think of caramel candy. I've never tried ARTec, however, I always recommend a sulfate free shampoo these days. I find it works really well with the crazy colors I use. Also, I only wash every 5 to 7 days, and if I feel oily in between I use a dry shampoo like Batiste.

Have you tried a sulfate free shampoo?

  3. I use L'Oreal's sulfate free shampoo. Smells good too. My hair was so light to start with, my stylist colored it darker than he intended it to come out because he knew it would fade. Maybe it's at a stand-still now. Probably not though since I *have* to shampoo daily. I get all gross and itchy if I don't. ;)

  4. Oooh!
Can you try the dry shampoo? And see if that works?
The Batiste stuff I get from Sally's, I spray it in, leave it in for about 5 mins, and then use a natural/boar bristle brush to brush it all out.

    I've not tried the L'Oreal but I bet it's good :)

I used to wash my hair every day, and then I started moving towards every other day, every 3 days, every week, etc. When my hair was really short I did it every 10 days. Now that it's longer I started doing it the 5 to 7, but I had to work to try and get it drawn out to at least 3 days.

I know that feeling you're talking about and it's definitely icky.

  5. I'll give that dry shampoo a try. Maybe it'll get me through at least one extra day without regular shampoo.

  7. I like your hair carmel color, it still gives you the highlights and lowlights or at least looks like it. I have the same trouble with my hair if I try to go darker, it never lasts. Even if I am my natural dark blonde w/o any haircoloring it still will lighten and golden on it's own. (okay maybe with help from the sun).

Greens look so good on you, there aren't too many that I can wear. I love Hemlock wetlined like that. You blend so well. Have you found yourself using different colors with your new hair?

  8. Thank you, Lyndsey! I've been trying to venture out with different colors and applying them with a bit more intensity but it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks, you know? But I *do* feel that the colors look better on me since my new hair is close to what nature gave me. Everything just looks "right."
