Aromaleigh Wonderstruck - Look IV

"Slow buds the pink dawn like a rose
From out night's gray and cloudy sheath;
Softly and still it grows and grows,
Petal by petal, leaf by leaf.”

~ Susan Coolidge

For today's look, I went a little bolder than I usually do. If you like pinks, Wonderstruck has some pretty ones.

Here's what I used to create this look:

  • Hearts a' Plenty (lid) - midtone sweet cotton candy pink with golden iridescence

  • Pass the Tarts (crease and outer v) - dark warm cranberry with slight shimmer, pink highlight, and multi-colored sparkles

  • Midtone matte brown (disc'd TSS) eyeshadow in crease

  • Black cake eyeliner on upper lash line, smudged

  2. You and Phyrra both chose these two pinks for your first Wonderstruck look - must make them go to colors!!
    I wonder how they would look with Meow's Jamba Fruit Dove mixed in?

  4. Cin: Thank you. I rarely wear pinks. But I was in a happy mood and these jumped out at me.

    Marcey: Actually, this is my 4th Wonderstruck look. In my first three looks, I used more neutral colors from the collection. And, I love Jamba Fruit Dove. I'm sure it would pair nicely with the Wonderstruck pinks.

    Phyrra: Thanks! I had no idea you used the same colors. I haven't had time for any blog reading lately. Great minds!
